一、学校概况Introduction to JSUT

江苏理工学院地处有着3200多年历史的文化古城—江苏省常州市。常州位于长江三角洲中心地带，与上海、南京两大都市等距相望，区位条件优越。这里气候舒适宜人，经济质量优异，社会安宁和谐，交通出行便利，生活环境优美，被评为全国文明城市和中国最具创新力城市。

Jiangsu University of Technology (JSUT) is situated in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province, a renowned cultural city in the central region of the Yangtze River Delta with over 3,200 years of history and advantageous location of equidistance from Shanghai and Nanjing. Changzhou boasts pleasant climate, booming economy, social stability and harmony, convenient transportation and beautiful living environment. It is named as “National Civilized City” and “The Most Innovative City in China”.

学校创建于1984年，是硕士学位授予单位、教育部本科教学工作水平评估优秀单位、全国首批职教师资培训重点建设基地和江苏省首批决策咨询研究基地。学校各类校舍建筑面积50余万平方米，现有全日制在校本科生20000余人、硕士研究生900余人、外国留学生学历生（本科生、研究生）100余人，教职工1500余人。开设62个本科专业，招收教育、机械、资源与环境硕士专业学位研究生，形成了以工科为主，多学科协调发展的办学格局。

JSUT was brought into existence in 1984. It is the unit for awarding master's degree. It was evaluated with the score of "Excellence" in the undergraduate teaching evaluation implemented by the Ministry of Education. It is also one of the first National Key Vocational Education Construction Bases of Teachers Training, and one of the decision-making consultation research bases for the People's Government of Jiangsu Province. The building area of various school buildings of the school is more than 500000 square meters and has over 20,000 full-time undergraduates, nearly 900 postgraduates, over 100 international students with academic qualifications (undergraduate and graduate students) and about 1,500 faculty members. JSUT offers 62 undergraduate majors, and enrolls postgraduate students with master's degree in  Mechanics, Resources & Environment and Education, which forms a distinct pattern of engineering-oriented and multiple discipline coordinated development.

学校大力实施国际化发展战略，积极引进国际先进办学理念、标准和资源，重点打造以中德合作为主的国际合作办学特色，先后与德国、美国、英国、法国、以色列、日本、韩国、哈萨克斯坦等国家，以及澳门、台湾地区的60余所高校建立了紧密的合作与交流关系。目前面向俄罗斯、摩洛哥、南非、印度尼西亚等“一带一路”沿线30多个国家招收留学生。

JSUT vigorously implements strategy of internationalized development, actively absorbing advanced international educational thoughts, standards and resources. It highlights characteristics of international cooperation and exchange by focusing on the implementation of Sino-German cooperation program and successively establishing cooperation 

relationship with over 60 universities from Germany, United States, the United Kingdom, South Korea, Ukraine, Israel, Kazakhstan, Macao and Taiwan. Now JSUT enroll international students from over 30 ‘Belt and Road’ countries such as Russia, Morocco, South Africa, Indonesia and etc.

江苏理工学院国际教育学院具体负责外国留学生的招生、管理和培养工作，下设留学生管理办公室，配备专职留学生辅导员，精心管理，竭诚服务，热情帮助，2次荣获江苏省来华留学生教育先进集体。近年来，学校加大留学生教育软硬件建设，建有设施齐全、功能完备的留学生教学楼和公寓楼，着力为留学生创造优美的学习和生活环境。学校面向留学生需求调整专业设置，配强教学师资，完善课程体系，不断提升留学生培养质量。获批省级外国留学生英文授课精品课程1门，留学生在全国大学生英语演讲比赛、江苏省中华经典诵读大赛中多次获奖。

School of International Education of JSUT is specifically responsible for the enrollment, management, and education of international students. It has an International Student Management Office with full-time international student counselor to provide careful management, dedicated service and enthusiastic help, and has been awarded the Jiangsu Advanced Group for Education of International Students in China twice.In recent years, JSUT has increased the construction of software and hardware for international student’s education, and has built a well-equipped and full-functioning international student teaching building and apartment building, focusing on creating a beautiful studying and living environment for international students. Based on the needs of international students, the university adjusts major settings, equips with good teachers, improves curriculum system to continuously improves the quality of international students. One provincial-level Excellent English-speaking Course For Foreign Students has been approved. Foreign students have won many awards in the National College Students' English Speech Contest and the Chinese Classical Recital Contest in Jiangsu Province.

二、招生说明Enrollment instruction

1.招生类别Programs

全日制硕士研究生标准学制3年（教育硕士2年）。留学生修满培养方案规定的学分，达到学位授予条件的，颁发研究生毕业证书，授予硕士学位。

The standard academic system for full-time postgraduates is 3 years（2 years for the discipline of Education). Foreign students who have completed the credits stipulated in the training program and meet the requirements for awarding a degree shall be awarded a postgraduate diploma and a master's degree.

2.专业简介 Majors Introduction

1.机械专业 Mechanics

面向先进绿色设计制造、智能装备检测控制等产业创新发展的实际需求，培养掌握机械专业基础理论知识，具有承担工程技术、工程管理工作能力，能够从事工程设计与实施、技术开发与应用、技术攻关与改造、工程规划与管理等工作，基础扎实、素质全面、工程实践能力强，并具有一定创新能力的应用型、复合型高层次工程技术与工程管理人才。

Oriented at the actual needs of  innovative development in industries such as advanced green design and manufacturing, intelligent equipment detection and control, to cultivate  practical and  interdisciplinary talents of engineering technology and management at a high level, who can master the basic theoretical knowledge of mechanical specialty, and have abilities to undertake the job of engineering technology and management, as well as technology design and implementation, development and application, research and transformation, engineering planning and management, etc., with solid foundation, comprehensive quality, strong abilities in engineering practices and innovation.

2.资源与环境专业Resources & Environment

面向节能环保产业资源综合利用、环境污染控制和材料绿色合成与应用等方面需求，培养符合经济社会和科技发展趋势，基础理论扎实，在固废资源化利用和无害化处置、废气废水治理、材料绿色合成与应用等某一领域具有较强的工程实践和工程创新能力，能够从事相关技术工艺开发、工程设计应用和环境管理等工作，具有良好职业素养的应用型硕士层次专门人才。

In order to meet the needs of comprehensive utilization of resources, environmental pollution control and green synthesis and application of materials in energy-saving and environmental protection industry. To cultivate applied master level professionals who are in line with the trend of economic, social and scientific and technological development, solid basic theory, and have strong engineering practice and engineering innovation ability in a certain field, such as solid waste resource utilization and harmless disposal, waste gas and waste water treatment, material green synthesis and application, and can be engaged in related technology and process development, engineering design application and environmental management, with good professional accomplishment.

3.教育（职业技术教育领域）专业Education (Vocational and Technical Education).

在装备制造、电子与信息、财经商贸方向培养掌握现代教育理论、具有较强职业技术教育教学实践和研究能力的有情怀、懂产业、擅教学、强实践的高素质中等职业学校专业教师。

In the direction of Equipment Manufacturing, Electronic Information and Finance and Commerce, to cultivate high-quality secondary vocational school professional teachers who master modern educational theory, have strong teaching practice and research ability of vocational and technical education, understand industry, be good at teaching and strong practice

三、申请资格Application requirements

1.非中国籍公民，持有有效外国护照，对华友好，无犯罪记录；

Applicants should be non-Chinese citizens, hold valid foreign passports, friendly to China and without criminal records;

2.身体健康，符合教育部颁布的《外国来华留学生健康检查标准》；

Should be in good health condition based on the Foreign Students Physical Examination Standards by the Ministry of Education;

3.遵守中国的法律法规和学校的规章制度，尊重中国人民的风俗习惯；

Abide by the law in China and regulations of schools. Never been disciplined;

4.具有学士学位，成绩良好，有较好的汉语听说读写能力，达到《国际汉语能力标准》（HSK）四级及以上；

Have a bachelor's degree, good grades, good Chinese listening, speaking, reading and writing ability. Has reached (HSK) level 4 and above in the International Chinese language proficiency Standard;

5.年龄一般不超过28周岁。

In principle, the age should below 28 years old.

六、入学申请流程Application process

第一步：申请学生在2023年7月30日前提交以下材料及支付500元报名费：

Step 1:Before July 30, 2023, submit the following materials and pay the registration fee of 500 yuan.

1. 江苏理工学院外国留学生入学申请表（word版及PDF版）；

Application Form for International Student of JSUT (word and PDF)；

2. 本科学历证书、学位证书的扫描件；

Photocopy of undergraduate graduation certificate and undergraduation degree certificate;  

3. 本科阶段全部课程的成绩单扫描件；

Photocopy of transcripts of all courses at the undergraduate level;

4. 护照个人信息页；

Passport personal information page and residence permit page (scanned copy);

5. 《外国人体格检查表》，由中国卫生检疫部门统一印制，须以英文填写，缺项未检、未贴有本人照片或照片上未盖骑缝章、无医师和医院签字盖章的检查表无效；

Foreigner Physical Examination Form uniformly printed by the Chinese health and quarantine department and must be completed in English. The will be invalid if has incomplete records, without sealed photo of the applicant or without the signature and seal of the physician and the hospital;

6. 研究计划（不少于1000字）；

Research plan (not less than 1000 words).

7. 两封推荐信，包括申请者学习能力、综合表现等方面内容，推荐人需副教授及以上身份；

Two letters of recommendation, including the applicant's learning ability, comprehensive performance, etc., the presenter needs the title of associate professor or above.    

8. 白底近期免冠证件照（电子版）；

Recent white background uncrowned certificate photo (electronic version)

9. 无犯罪记录证明；

Non-criminal record;

10. 语言能力证明文件：须提供与申请授课语言相匹配的语言成绩报告单；

Proof of language proficiency: provide a language proficiency certificate that matches the language of the teaching mode.

11. 银行存款证明（至少5000美元）；

Bank certificate of deposit (at least 5,000 USD)

12. 最近一次的来华签证或在华居留许可（如有），如隐瞒在华经历，影响入学报到注册，责任自负。

The latest visa to China or residence permit in China (if any). If you conceal your experience in China, which will affect the admission and registration and shall bear responsibility by yourselves.    

13. 其他证书或证明（如获奖证书、获奖学金证明等）。

Other certificates or proofs (such as award-winning certificate, award-winning scholarship certificate, etc.).

第二步：国际教育学院对申请者材料进行审核。

Step 2: School of International Education examines the materials of the applicants.

第三步：研究生处及相关专业学院进行面试及考核。

Step 3: the Graduate Office and Relevant Schools give the interview and assessment.

第四步：查看录取状态，合格者发放预录取通知书。

Step 4: applicant checks admission status, qualified applicants will issue Letter of Pre-admission.

第五步：在两周内预交住宿费3000元，发送汇款收据扫描件并注明姓名、护照号至admission@jsut.edu.cn。

Step 5: applicant pays 3000 yuan in advance for accommodation within two weeks, and send the scanned copy of the remittance receipt indicating your name and passport number to admission@jsut.edu.cn.

第六步：寄送录取通知书、来华签证申请表、JW202、报到须知等原件，请注意查收。

Step 6: the school will send the admission notice, visa application form, JW202 form, registration instructions and other originals to the applicant, please remember to check.

第七步：收到材料后到中国驻外使领馆申请学习签证（X1签证），准备入境，并将到校行程告知学校。

Step 7: when applicant receiving the materials, go to Chinese embassy or consulate abroad to apply for study visa (X1 visa). Prepare to enter China and inform JUST the itinerary.

第八步：按《江苏理工学院录取通知书》规定时间来校报到。

Step 8: applicant comes to JSUT and register within the designated time in Letter of Admission.

第九步：查验申请材料原件，办理报到手续。

Step 9: applicant’s original materials must be inspected. After confirming the validity, the applicant can go on the registration procedures.

说明：1.在报到时如不能提供上述材料原件或经学校审核认定材料弄虚作假者，取消其入学资格；

Notes: 1. Anyone fails to provide the above materials when registration or the materials are found to be falsified, then the opportunity of admission will be cancelled;

            2. 若申请材料的原件为中文或英文以外语种文本，须附正规翻译机构出具的中文或英文翻译件。

            2. If the original application material is in a language other than Chinese or English, a Chinese or English translation from an official translation agency must be attached.

七、奖学金Scholarship

1.留学江苏政府奖学金 Jiangsu Government Scholarship

江苏省人民政府设有“留学江苏省政府奖学金”，主要用于奖励从境外申请到江苏高等学校接受学历教育的外籍优秀学生。具体政策按照江苏省相关文件规定执行，详情可登录http://www.studyinjiangsu.org了解。

Jiangsu Provincial Government establishes “Jiangsu Government Scholarship” for excellent international students who apply to undertake degree education in Jiangsu universities and colleges from overseas. Specific policies shall be implemented according to related rules and regulations of Jiangsu province and JSUT. More details may find at http://www.studyinjiangsu.org.

2.江苏理工学院高水平语言新生奖学金 JSUT Scholarship for Advanced Language Freshman

主要用于奖励申请到江苏理工学院接受学历教育的英语或中文成绩优秀的新生，在入学学年一次性发放。其中申请英文授课的，须雅思6.5分或托福笔试85分以上；申请中文授课的，须《国际汉语能力标准》（HSK）五级及以上。具体金额为：2000元/人。

It is mainly used to reward freshmen who have excellent scores in English or Chinese for academic education at JSUT. Students will be issued once in the first school year. Among them, those who apply for majors taught in English must have IELTS score of 6.5 or a TOEFL written test of 85 or above; those who apply for majors taught in Chinese must have HSK 5 or above. The specific amount is ¥2,000 yuan/ person.

3.江苏理工学院外国留学生优秀硕士研究生新生学业奖学金 JSUT Academic Scholarship for Outstanding International Postgraduate Freshmen

主要用于奖励申请到江苏理工学院接受学历教育学业成绩优秀的新生，金额为6000元。此项奖学金在入学第一学年根据学生综合表现逐月发放。

It is mainly used to reward freshmen who apply for postgraduate education in JSUT with excellent academic performance, with an amount of 6000 yuan. The scholarship will be awarded monthly according to the overall performance of the students in the first academic year.

4.江苏理工学院外国留学生硕士研究生院长奖学金 JSUT President Scholarship for International Postgraduate Students

学习期间，通过合作机构、院校推荐的学生以及其他优秀本科毕业生均可申请我校提供的“江苏理工学院外国留学生硕士研究生院长奖学金”。学校将根据其在校学习成绩及综合表现进行学年综合考评，并按照相关规定评定下一学年院长奖学金金额。

During the period of major study, students recruited through collaborative partners or recommended by cooperative institutions and universities and other excellent senior school graduates can apply for President Scholarship for International Students in JUST.

After the end of the first academic year, the school will conduct a comprehensive evaluation according to the students' academic performance and overall performance. The amount of this scholarship to this student in the next academic year will be assessed in accordance with the relevant regulations.

5.江苏理工学院优秀外国留学生硕士研究生奖学金 JSUT Scholarship for Excellent International Postgraduate Students

专业学习期间，每学年设立“江苏理工学院优秀外国留学生硕士研究生奖学金”，以鼓励留学生刻苦学习、奋发向上、追求卓越。具体金额为3000—6000元不等。

During the period of students’ major study, JSUT provides postgraduate students with JSUT Scholarship for Excellent International Postgraduate Students from the second academic year, to encourage them to study harder, to make them rise and to strive for excellence so that their creative spirit and practical ability could be stimulated and cultivated.The amount ranges from 3000 to 6000 yuan. It will be assessed with reference to the measures for the JSUT Evaluation of Scholarship for Foreign students.
